Parul Gulati, a prominent star of several Punjabi films, graced the runway, setting the stage for “Gulaal.” She donned a resplendent panelled lehenga, choli, and dupatta trio, adorned with intricate embellishments. Her presence exuded the collection’s opulence and grandeur.

The runway came alive with the vibrant colors of India, as fuchsia danced with orange, and marigold tones harmonized with shades of blue. The rich palette featured shades of red, vermilion, emerald, gulaabi, turquoise, and purple, mirroring the enchanting hues of the country and weaving a captivating narrative. Swati’s choice of fabrics, including luxurious silks, Mashru, cotton silk, silk organza, and Chanderi, breathed life into the collection. Her design prowess shone through in the layered silhouettes and the free-flowing elegance of the ensembles.

The “Gulaal” collection introduced bold and mesmerizing fashion statements through stripes. A striped, dolman-sleeved choli paired with a multi-colored lehenga commanded attention. A fluid sharara made its mark alongside an asymmetric kurti, complemented by an eye-catching dupatta. The poncho-style kurta layered over fitted pants exuded modern chic, while a dazzling, flared, asymmetric kurta elegantly graced the runway with dhoti pants. The collection also featured a stylized, vertically striped kaftan, a perfect choice for formal resort wear. Stripes made a dual-tone appearance in a swirling skirt and short jacket combo, accentuated by an angular bustier. Adding a touch of drama, the draped one-shouldered maxi came with an ornate, asymmetric robe cinched stylishly at the waist with a belt.
