Emphasizing sustainability, creativity, and innovation, each ensemble is exclusively conceived by the National Creative Directors and the Backstage Heroes at Lakmē Salon to accentuate the designers’ collections.

Renowned as ‘The Backstage Heroes,’ the experts at Lakmē Salon have been pioneering avant-garde hair and makeup styles for esteemed Indian designers at the nation’s foremost fashion event for over two decades. This year marks the introduction of the aspirational talent program as Lakmē Fashion Week enters its 24th year. Comprising the finest in-house talent, the Backstage Heroes of Lakmē Salon remain abreast of the latest trends and aligned with their inventive flair.

In the current season, a team of more than 24 highly skilled Backstage Heroes from Lakmē Salon are exclusively crafting hair and makeup looks for 11 Runway and Atelier shows of the crème de la crème designers, including National Institute of Fashion Design, Fashion Design Council of India, Gaurang Shah, Arpita Mehta, Anushree Reddy, Geisha Designs by Paras & Shalini, Shahin Mannan, All You Can Street, Varun Chakkilam, Arvind Ampula, Sakshi Bhat, Saaksha & Kinni, Diksha Khanna, and Kalki, among others.

Over the years, Lakmē Salon has pioneered innovative and experimental looks in both hair and makeup collections, and this year is no exception. For this season’s showcase, Lakmē Salon has collaborated with Geisha Designs to unveil ‘The Elemental Symphony’ – a collection inspired by the elements of nature. The team at Lakme Salon has crafted hair looks that serve as an extension of Geisha’s designs. The Backstage Experts have created hair looks characterized by the use of bold electric colors on real hair, gravity-defying shapes, finger-waving textures, and multiple lengths curated for high-fashion headgear, showcasing the style and completing the final look. Each hair and makeup ensemble perfectly complements the collection and embodies the designers’ vision of being ‘Unapologetically You.’
