A-List Broadway and Hollywood Stars Gather to Celebrate Joe Morton's Legacy at the Edison Ballroom

On February 24, 2025, the Vineyard Theatre hosted its annual Gala at the Edison Ballroom in New York City, honoring the esteemed actor and activist Joe Morton. Morton, celebrated for his Emmy® Award-winning portrayal of Rowan/Eli Pope in Scandal, has a rich history with the Vineyard Theatre, contributing as an actor, director, mentor, and board member over the past two decades.

The evening commenced with a cocktail reception at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and a performance at 7:00 PM. The event featured a stellar lineup of performers and presenters, including Brandon Victor Dixon, Tony Goldwyn, Bellamy Young, Norm Lewis, Sally Murphy, Phylicia Rashad, and Cornelius Eady. The entertainment segment was directed by Reggie D. White, with Vadim Feichtner serving as music director.
